Patrol & Response Policy

How patrol coverage is defined, documented, and escalated.

Effective October 22, 2026 · Last updated October 22, 2026

Effective October 22, 2026. These policies describe how Royal Shield Security LLC operates its website and services. Signed service agreements and approved post orders control the scope of any assignment. This website, its forms, and ordinary business telephone lines are not emergency services. Call 911 when immediate police, fire, or medical assistance is needed.

Contracted coverage

Patrol coverage follows the written service agreement, approved post orders, and current site briefing. Routes, checkpoints, hours, and escalation contacts are defined for each assignment.

Patrol verification

Patrol records may include officer identification, start and end times, checkpoint status, notes, GPS observations, and photographs. These records support accountability but do not represent uninterrupted observation of every part of a property.

Response and escalation

Officers assess the situation, prioritize life safety, and respond within their authority and assigned scope. Emergencies are referred to 911, and clients are notified according to approved site instructions.

Delays and safety

Weather, road conditions, emergencies, and access problems can affect patrol timing. Exceptions are documented and escalated. Officers will not enter unsafe areas solely to record a checkpoint.

No guaranteed response time

Specific coverage or response commitments exist only when stated in a signed service agreement. No security company can guarantee that criminal behavior, unauthorized access, injury, damage, or loss will never occur.
